Exterior view of Brigantine Elks Lodge at night.

At 400 West Shore Drive, the Brigantine Elks Lodge #2428 sits right on the bay, and that view alone is worth the trip. Members and guests describe the outdoor pavilion as feeling like a slice of Key West dropped into South Jersey, and once you catch a summer sunset from the deck, you'll understand exactly what they mean.

The lodge has earned a 4.7-star reputation not by accident but by showing up consistently for its community. Thursday through Sunday you'll find live music filling the room, a bar stocked with affordable drinks, and food that punches well above its price point. The staff is the kind that remembers faces and keeps the atmosphere loose without ever letting it get sloppy.

Beyond the Friday-night crowd, Lodge #2428 runs community events, charitable fundraisers, and the kind of programming that makes a neighborhood feel like a neighborhood. The Elks motto about caring for your own isn't just wall art here. It shows up in how the place is run every single week.

What We Offer

The lodge offers full bar service with prices that won't make you wince, plus a food menu built for real appetites after a day on the water. The waterfront pavilion is the crown jewel, open for gatherings, private parties, and impromptu post-beach hangs with an unobstructed bay view.

Live entertainment runs Thursday through Sunday, ranging from local acoustic acts to full bands, keeping the energy moving without drowning out conversation. Community events, charitable drives, and member-exclusive programming round out the calendar year-round.

Membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks opens the door to reciprocal privileges at over 2,000 lodges nationwide, plus a tight-knit local network that gives back to Brigantine and the surrounding Atlantic County communities in measurable ways.

"One of the best Elks lodges I’ve been to. Full of friendly people and can we just talk about the view…especially at sunset! The outdoor pavilion is a bit of Key West in Brigantine. Staff is always willing to help and they have great music and food most nights. If you’re not a member, it’s easy to join. Just have a current member sponsor you! You can get involved in lots of activities and committees. Have fun and help the community at the same time."
